As previously promised, Samsung announced a pair of new Galaxy M series phones in India – a redesigned Galaxy M13 4G and a brand new Galaxy M13 5G. Not to be confused with the Galaxy M13 4G, which was launched back in May, the new Galaxy M13 4G has a redesigned rear camera design and a larger 6,000 mAh battery. The rest of the specs are transferred from the international Galaxy M13 4G – a 6.6-inch FHD + LCD, Exynos 850 chipset, 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP depth aid.
The Galaxy M13 5G brings a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a water drop hook to its 8MP selfie camera. The back has a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth module. The phone is equipped with MediaTeks Dimensity 700 chipset and is available with 4/6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB storage which can be expanded via microSD. The battery compartment is overall of a 5,000 mAh cell with 15W charging capacity. Both new phones launch Android 12 with Samsung’s One UI Core 4 on top.
The new Galaxy M13 models will be available in the colors Midnight Blue, Stardust Brown and Aqua Green. The Galaxy M13 4G starts at INR 11,999 ($ 150) for 4 / 64GB trim, while the M13 5G will go to INR 13,999 ($ 175) for 4 / 64GB trim. Holders of ICICI bank cards receive a fixed discount of INR 1,000. Open sales in India start on July 23 via Samsung.com, Amazon India and offline retailers.
