The Samsung Gallery app gets a new “Drawer User Interface” in the latest update (12.1.07.5), a convenient way to navigate the folders on your device for Galaxy tablets or phones in DeX mode. It pulls out from the left and works in the same way as a desktop file browser.

Another change (this apparently only for phones) is full screen scrolling – it basically hides the status bar and navigation bar as you scroll, giving more space for thumbnails (to bring the bars back you just need to scroll up a bit).

Samsung Notes also gets several new features with the latest build (4.7.06.64). You are allowed to underline key phrases, circulate important things and just draw over your notes. You can now also import PDF files and write and draw over them as well.

If you record sound while taking notes, the updated app can play the sound while you print the note, just as you did when you created it. With Jump to the right place, you can tap a sentence to forward the audio recording to that point.

You can get both of these updates from the Galaxy Store.
