Android 12 is currently available for dozens of Samsung phones and tablets. However, the list continues to grow, and another Galaxy phone has joined the list which is the Samsung Galaxy M01 which is now getting Android 12 update and One UI 4.1.
And the Galaxy M01 with model number “SM-M015G” gets Android 12 and One UI 4.1. The update includes the June 2022 security patch and has firmware version M015GXXU4CVF6.
Although the update is a version of the user interface compared to what Galaxy phones get in the upper tier, it has an updated look with an emphasis on accessibility and ease of use.
The Samsung Galaxy M01 is a modest phone released in 2020 with Android 10 at launch but has now reached its limit with two major OS upgrades. Android 12 and One UI 4 will be the latest OS update for the phone, although it will continue to receive security patches.
As of this writing, Android 12 for the Galaxy M01 with model number “SM-M015G” is available in India, but in theory, the international model (SM-M015F) shouldn’t be far behind. Galaxy M01 users can download the Android 12 and One UI 4.1 update when they receive the notification or by opening the Settings screen, accessing “Software Update” and clicking on “Download and Install”.
