This year’s delayed MWC 2021 is almost here, and we already have some of the things Samsung will be talking about during its event. The company just submitted two new trademarks to EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). They are for Samsung Watch Design Studio and Samsung Good Lock.
The first is probably a definitive and official name of the already released Galaxy Watch Designer service that allows you to create your own dials for Samsung’s smartwatches. The app can be found in the Galaxy Store, but it is still in beta. So maybe during this year’s MWC, Samsung will introduce more features to the service and end the beta phase.
In addition, the company has the brand Samsung Good Lock, but the list does not say much except that it can be downloaded software for smartphones and tablets for customizing UI elements in the software, and which fits perfectly with the already introduced Good Lock software. Maybe there is nothing new in the software itself, other than that it has just been branded, but it could finally also expand its availability beyond the handful of markets that now have it.
