Realme X7 Max/GT Neo in for review
Hello to Realme X7 Max, the fresh new arrival at HQ. It is a phone that is identical to the Realme GT Neo and very similar to the Realme GT 5G, where the only differences are the chipset – Dimensity 1200 instead of Snapdragon 888 – and 50W charging instead of 65W.
The Realme GT Neo became official in late March in China, while the X7 Max arrived in India two months later.
Here’s the quick review of the Realme X7 Max / GT Neo – it features a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 6GB to 12GB of RAM to go along with the aforementioned Dimensity 1200 chip, a 4,500mAh battery and 50 W charging.
Camera-wise, you get an identical setup for the GT 5G – 64MP standard, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro cameras with a 16MP device taking selfies on the opposite side.
The device we received is planned as Asteroid Black, but it really is more of a bluish color. The back panel is in one piece, but has a double-colored finish – a glossy strip is flanked on both sides by a textured surface. It is nice to touch and promotes better handling without case.
The phone runs fast and smooth, which is to be expected given its amazing hardware. The fingerprint scanner also works zippy.
If we were to point out a flaw with the Realme X7 Max now, it would be that the screen is faintly faint, mostly in bright sunny conditions (which is the norm in HQ at this time of year).
We have started the review of the Realme X7 Max, so keep an eye out for more details!
