Samsung announced the update of the One UI 5 Watch interface, which is the latest version of the One UI program for Samsung smart watches. The One UI 5 Watch interface will be powered by the Wear OS 4 update coming to Wear OS watches later this year, so it will have new features from both Samsung and Google.
According to Samsung, the One UI 5 Watch interface focuses on three main aspects of the user experience: sleep, fitness, and safety. Improvements range from a better understanding of your sleep patterns and expanded fitness features to an upgraded SOS system, though the company will reveal more details about the One UI 5 Watch in the future.
Samsung smart watches that will receive the One UI 5 Watch interface update
The Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro are the only Samsung smartwatches running Wear OS from Google.
The Galaxy Watch 6 series, which is scheduled to be announced in the second half of the year, is expected to come with Wear OS 4 and One UI Watch 5. If it did not arrive with this update, Samsung is likely to release the update for the new watches soon after. Put it up for sale.

That’s because Wear OS 4 may not be available until September if Google intends to release it exactly a year after Wear OS WearOS 3 While the Galaxy Watch 6 series will reportedly launch alongside Samsung’s new foldable phones and tablets in late July and may be available for purchase sometime in August.
The One UI 5 Watch interface will be available for beta testing for Watch 4 and Watch 5 users later this month before its official stable release, though the company hasn’t revealed the list of countries where beta testing will be available.
