Samsung Galaxy Watch4 to come with body composition monitor
Samsung Galaxy Watch4 rumored to launch in early August will come with a BIA sensor, claims tipster Max Weinbach.
With a BIA (bioelectrical impedance analysis) sensor on board, the Galaxy Watch4 will be able to measure the wearer’s body composition – especially body fat and muscle mass – which is an integral part of a person’s health and nutrition assessment.
The BIA sensor will likely be connected to the heart rate sensor and the SpO2 sensor to measure your heart rate and blood oxygen levels, respectively.

The Galaxy Watch4 was also rumored to come with blood glucose monitoring, but that is not happening.
Samsung has not yet revealed anything about the Galaxy Watch4, but media reports claim that the smartwatch runs Google’s Wear OS, while the FCC revealed that the Watch4 comes in LTE and Wi-Fi only versions – both have NFC chips on board with the ability to play music stored locally from the internal storage.
