The external screen comes from a 5.8-inch OLED with a resolution of (1080 x 2092) pixels, an aspect ratio of 17.4: 9, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus layer, and provides HDR brightness of up to 1200 nits, and brightness of up to 1550 candles per square meter.
The dimensions of the device are 139.7 x 79.5 x 12.1 mm when folded, and 139.7 x 158.7 x 5.8 mm when opened, and it weighs 283 grams. It is rated IPX8 for water resistance.
The hinge features “fluid friction across its full 180-degree range of motion to securely support various positions.” The Google Pixel Fold is powered by Google’s Tensor G2 processor with Titan M2 security processor. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Google Pixel Fold features a triple rear camera unit on the back that includes a 48-megapixel main lens with a 1/2-inch sensor and f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and a 10.8-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 1/3-inch sensor and f/1.7 aperture. / 2.2, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom with a 1/3.1-inch sensor and f / 3.05 aperture, and support for Super Res Zoom up to 20x.
