Samsung Galaxy Watch4 alleged official renders leak

The latest set of leaks from 91Mobiles has just unveiled Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch4. These reproductions are reportedly official from Samsung, showing any angle on the unannounced smartwatch and leaving nothing to the imagination.

Earlier rumors of being Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Active, the renderings confirm that Samsung will reportedly call it “Galaxy Watch4”.

The renderings also reveal several specifications about the Watch4. The back of the watch body displays text showing the Watch4 coming in sizes 40mm and 44mm. In addition, 5ATM water resistance, MIL-STD 810G compliance, GPS and Gorilla Glass DX + protection are also prominent here.

The design of the Watch4 seems to be a departure from the Watch3, its rotating frame and its general clumsiness. The new Watch4 seems to borrow design language from the Galaxy Watch2 Active with its slimmer look and curved lines. The sides of the watch body curve to the shape of the wrist, and the strap is attached just like the Active2 watch. There are two physical buttons on the right side and the watch can still have a touch sensitive frame like Active2.

The reproductions show several ribbon colors including white, green, black, red and yellow with a silver, black or mysterious bronze body.

We still do not know what the new overall Wear OS will look like. Although there are some dials visible in the renderings, they do not really show any of the underlying software. Google is expected to reveal more about the overall Wear OS later this year, but we do not know how late. We hope to hear more about the overall Wear OS platform when Samsung reportedly launches the Watch4, which reportedly happens in early August.
