Redmi K50S Pro reveals very important details about the phone’s camera

Last month, Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, revealed that the company will launch a new Redmi K50 series phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, the Redmi K50S Pro and now some interesting details about this phone have emerged. Next.

Redmi K50S Pro specifications

According to Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K50 S Pro will arrive with an improved display, cameras, and battery/charging. And most importantly, indicates Source Also, there is a telephoto camera. But it will probably provide the normal 2x or 3x zoom instead of the periscope unit.

The latest Redmi phone with a zoom camera was the China-exclusive Redmi K30 Pro Zoom version that carries an 8MP camera with 3x zoom and OIS support. Prior to that, both the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro had an 8MP telephoto camera with a 2x lens.

The Redmi K series was expected to retain a wide + ultra-wide + telephoto camera setup. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

The Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G came with 2MP and 2MP macro sensors. And Xiaomi’s famous 5MP Telemacro camera with autofocus debuted on the Redmi K30 Pro.

This camera was later used by the entire Redmi K40 series (with the exception of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition) but was dropped by this year’s Redmi K50 series in favor of the 2MP macro.

The Redmi K50S Pro is expected to be released as the Xiaomi 12T Pro in the international markets. Thus, if the above information is correct, customers outside of China will also be able to use the zoom camera on the flagship phone.

In your opinion, are the Redmi phones worth buying?
