Xiaomi releases a large number of phones with LCD screens every year, but over the past few years, the popularity of OLED screens has increased dramatically which has led to a decline in the use of LCD screens.
Most flagship phones now come with OLED screens and even mid-range devices use this screen as well. According to recent reports, Xiaomi plans to phase out the use of LCD screens. Also, the company’s CEO, Zhang Yu, confirmed that the Redmi Note 11T Pro might be the last phone with an LCD screen.

According to sourceIt seems that some Xiaomi fans did not like these statements and preferred that the Redmi brand continue with the same strategy as last year’s model, because the use of OLED screens means that the phone will become more expensive.

Nowadays OLED screens have gradually become popular in mid-range and even high-end phones, and the Redmi Note series has also started to switch to OLED screens, like some phones in the Redmi Note 11 series.
