Camera details revealed for Oppo Reno 10 series
The Oppo Reno 10 series of phones will carry a triple rear camera including a telephoto lens, and the Chinese tech giant has officially confirmed that the regular Reno 10 model will also feature a triple camera setup, similar to the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro Plus variants.
It has now been confirmed that the rear camera has a 64MP primary sensor while one of the other cameras is a telephoto lens.
Notably, the telephoto lens confirmed for the entire series, which the brand teased will have a focal length of 47mm.
The backend features a large camera. Unfortunately, the company did not reveal any exact details regarding the other sensors. In other words, we still don’t know the smallest details about the ultra-wide-angle camera or the resolution of the optical zoom lens.
The Oppo Reno 10 is believed to have a 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor that offers 2x optical zoom.
Similar to the regular Oppo Reno 10 model, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro will also have the same 8MP and 32MP sensors for ultra wide angle and telephoto tools.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus model will have a higher 64MP periscope lens. However, the primary sensor is expected to be a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor that also supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Oppo is scheduled to unveil the upcoming Oppo Reno 10 series of phones on May 24.
