The latest reports indicate that OnePlus is currently working on two foldable phones, and is likely to launch them this year, while next year will witness the launch of OnePlus 12.
According to the leak, the phone will not bring a major upgrade from the current OnePlus 11 phone, as it will come with a 6.7-inch OLED screen and QHD + resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The biggest and expected change in the phone will be the processor, as the new phone will work with the expected Snapdragon 8 generation 3 processor from Qualcomm.
It is expected that Qualcomm will announce by the end of next November or early December the new processor, which is said to provide an improvement of 35% over the previous generation and will reach a speed of 3.7 GHz for the main core.
And Qualcomm confirmed in previous news that it will use the Snapdragon X75 modem to provide the feature of satellite communication in the upcoming phones that will use its new processor.
One of the upgrades on the new OnePlus 12 is the periscope lens, which will come with a 64-megapixel resolution, according to some reports, while there will be two lenses, one 50-megapixel primary and another 50-megapixel one with a very wide angle.
It is expected that the phone battery will have a capacity of 5000 mAh, and the phone will support fast charging with a capacity of 100 watts, and it is likely that the phone will be launched first in China in late December.
