Vivo today officially announced its new Vivo Y36 phone in Indonesia. It comes as a successor to the vivo Y35 phone that was launched last August. The phone has been curiously announced in two different models: one 4G, the other 5G, although only the former has been listed so far on Facebook. Indonesia’s official website.

The vivo Y36 comes with a 6.64-inch “Ultra O” LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2388, and it contains a hole for the selfie camera at the top center of the upper side.

It features a rectangular camera module on the back panel, which has two camera rings in each. The upper one is a 50MP main camera while the other is a 2MP depth camera. The front camera is 16 megapixels for selfies and video calls.

It has 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage. It also includes a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging.

The phones run on Android 13 with the Funtouch OS 13 interface from Vivo. Its dimensions are 164.06 x 76.17 x 8.07 mm, while its weight is 202 grams.

The only differences between the two phones are the processors used and the color options. The 4G model will work with the Snapdragon 680 processor, and it will arrive in Glitter Aqua and Meteor Black colors, while the model will work with the Dimensity 6020 processor, and it will arrive in color options that include crystal green and black. As for the specifications, they are the same.

The price of the 4G version of the Vivo Y36 phone is about $ 226, and the price of the 5G version is still unknown, or when it will reach other markets.
