Recently, a series of leaks spread about the expected iPhone 15 series phones. Today, new leaks have emerged stating that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may bring unpleasant news to fans of these phones.
Frustrating details related to the iPhone 15 Pro Max
Previous reports indicated that Apple will bring some exclusive upgrades to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. But it seems that the company wants to achieve this by keeping the same specifications as the last generation device. Also, it is said that this year’s phone will retain the same camera and screen as the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
According to leaker Revignus via TwitterThe iPhone 15 Pro Max will arrive with the same megapixel main sensor (IMX803) that was used in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Contrary to the previous rumors that the device will have a Sony Exmor IMX903 sensor. So, it turns out that the Exmor IMX903 sensor is now reserved for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
It is likely that Apple will work on the software side to improve the IMX803 sensor further in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Thus, this sensor may add many exclusive features to the phone’s camera.

Revegnus leaker also shed light on the screen that Apple is using for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to rumors, the phone will retain the M12 display found in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, the M12’s screen is already ranked as the best smartphone screen by DisplayMate.
Considering how well the iPhone 14 Pro Max performs against its competitors, it would not be feasible to integrate a new screen into the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Of course, this will also help Apple keep the manufacturing cost of the new device down, which can be passed on to consumers.
An exclusive feature on the iPhone 15 Pro Max
So far, the only confirmed iPhone 15 Pro Max upgrade seems to be the processor. As previously reported, the A17 Bionic processor is currently manufactured with a 3 nm process from TSMC. This means that it will likely offer a good overall upgrade in terms of performance and battery life.
On the other hand, leaker Revegnus says that the device will see an increase in RAM capacity. iPhone 14 Pro Max came with 6GB of RAM, which was more than enough for an iOS device. So, the rumored 8GB LPDDR5 option for the iPhone 15 Pro Max would indeed be a big upgrade. It will allow you to keep more applications open and multitask with ease.
