vivo Singapore has quietly announced the global version of the vivo Y78 which will be a slightly different version of the one that was launched in China earlier this month. This device is larger and will be powered by a different processor, making it more similar to the vivo Y78+ that was launched in April.

The global version of the vivo Y78 phone is equipped with a wide 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD + resolution and a fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the screen.
The screen is curved, so the phone is relatively thin for its size, with dimensions of 164.3 x 74.8 x 7.9 mm and weighing 177 grams. It has an IP54-rated plastic body for protection against water and dust.
The front camera is inside a hole and is 16 megapixels (f / 2.45), while on the back it contains a 64 megapixel main camera integrated with an f / 1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. Also on the back is a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
It’s powered by the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 8GB of RAM (plus up to 8GB of default RAM) and 256GB of storage (no expansion slot, however).
The phone runs on Android 13 and the FuntouchOS 13 interface, and will include a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
The phone comes with an 11V/4A charger and USB-C cable in the box, as well as (at least in Singapore) a base case and pre-applied screen protector.
vivo Y78 global version price
The price of vivo Y78 has not been revealed yet, but the new phone will hit stores soon. It is available in glowing gold and black, both with a gradient effect.
