The latest reports confirmed, that the company is scheduled to reveal xiaomi About its new series of phones, Xiaomi 14 – Xiaomi 14, which is expected in November of this year. The series phones will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, which may debut in October this year.
Xiaomi 14 Pro camera details
Rumors indicate that the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will be equipped with periscope zoom cameras and the Periscope zoom capabilities will provide users with enhanced optical zoom capabilities, enabling them to accurately capture distant subjects.
According to the famous “Digital Chat Station” account, the periscope telephoto camera of the Xiaomi 14 Pro will offer up to 5x optical zoom with an impressive focal length of 115mm. Meanwhile, its sibling, the Xiaomi 14, will have a periscope telephoto camera with up to 3.9x optical zoom and a 90mm focal length. The leaker did not share any other information about the cameras in the Xiaomi 14 series.
Previous reports claimed that, like the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will have three 50MP cameras on the back, one of which is a 50MP primary lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a zoom camera. And the front camera of the Xiaomi 14 Pro will support 4K video recording, which promises high-quality selfies and video calls.
Both models are expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery. Charging capabilities will vary between models, as the Xiaomi 14 will support up to 90 watts of charging, and the Xiaomi 14 Pro variant will likely provide 120 watt charging speeds.
It is worth noting that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone will be launched next year. The flagship Xiaomi phone may debut in the first quarter of 2024 in China.
