The Samsung Galaxy F54 5G is considered one of the best mid-range phones that offers better features than the Galaxy A54. The biggest advantage of the Galaxy F54 is that it performs better despite having the same Exynos processor as the Galaxy A54, also, the Galaxy F54 is $100 cheaper than the Galaxy A54 in India.
But performance isn’t the only area where it beats the Galaxy A54. Another feature that could be just as important to the phone’s performance for some customers is the size of the screen bezels.
Samsung made a significant change to the phone’s design by swapping out the plastic on the back for Gorilla Glass 5 for a more premium look, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the large bezels around the screen.
Galaxy F54 and Galaxy A54 bezels: the higher the price, the thicker the bezels?
However, bezels on the Galaxy F54 are not a problem. And while it’s not much thinner than the Galaxy A54 or as thin as the bezels on Samsung’s flagship phones, it’s also not bad. This is good for ease of use too, since the Galaxy F54 has a larger screen (0.3 inches larger than the Galaxy A54) and the slimmer bezels help make one-handed use more convenient.
Not everyone cares about their phone’s bezels, and some prefer a more premium handheld feel, which the Galaxy A54 delivers thanks to the glass back. But this feature may be one of the reasons for the high price of the phone.
May be the real reasons to get Galaxy A54 Features such as stereo speakers, water and dust resistance, but if those are at the top of your must-have list, the Galaxy A34 is the more financially sensible option.
In short, it doesn’t make sense to get the Galaxy A54 anymore, especially in the Indian market, now that the Galaxy F54 and Galaxy A34 are all around. Samsung doesn’t seem to care if it loses sales of the Galaxy A54, or doesn’t bother launching the Galaxy F54 soon after the Galaxy A54 hit stores. But it at least means that customers now have more options to choose from.
Note: If you live in a market where the Galaxy M54 is available for purchase and is much cheaper than the Galaxy F54, then feel free to buy it.
