Samsung Galaxy A22 4G silently goes official in India, available to order already
In early June, the Samsung Galaxy A22 made 5G official, and ever since, we have heard several times that a 4G model was on its way to India. This has now been officially added to the Samsung India website, and not only that, but you can already order one.
The Galaxy A22 4G is priced at INR 18,499 ($ 248, € 209 at current exchange rates) before any bank offers. For this amount of cash, you get the device in the only memory / storage combination it has, namely 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. In terms of color, you can choose between black and mint.
The handset comes with a 6.4 “720×1600 Super AMOLED screen with 600 nits maximum brightness in High Brightness Mode and a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48 MP f / 1.8 main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP f / 2.2 ultra wide and as a pair of 2 MP f / 2.4 decorative depth and macro sensors.On the front you get a 13 MP f / 2.2 snapper for selfies without autofocus.
The company does not name the specific chipset used, but only mentions that its CPU speed peaks at 2 GHz for the large core head and 1.8 GHz for the small core heap. Previous leaks, however, said that the MediaTek Helio G80 was at the helm.
The A22 features microSD expansion, dual-SIM support, a triple slot arrangement, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button and a 5,000 mAh battery. It measures 159.3 x 73.6 x 8.4 mm and weighs 186 g.
