Enthusiasm for the upcoming Android 14 update and One UI 6.0 interface began to increase more and more as we reached the second half of 2023.

Samsung has been busy testing One UI 6.0 internally on some eligible devices, and it seems that the company has recently started preparing the update for two of its mid-range phones.

One UI 6.0 will come to mid-range Samsung phones

One UI 6.0 firmware detected for Galaxy A52s and Galaxy A34 on Samsung servers, with the latest firmware under test having version number A528BXXU4FWG3 and A346BXXU3BWGB respectively. The fourth from the last letter in the version number is what tells us that this is the One UI 6.0 firmware, as this letter is changed with every Android version and One UI update for Samsung devices.

The Galaxy A34’s Android 13 and One UI 5.1 firmware build numbers have an A in the fourth but last position, and that will change to a B once the device receives an update to an Android version or One UI. And for the Galaxy A52s, that letter will change from E to F (and probably won’t change to G because Android 14 will be the last major update for the A52s unless Samsung decides to update the Galaxy A52 series phones to One UI 6.1 next year).

Now, this beta firmware could be based on One UI 5.1.1, which is a minor One UI update that Samsung will release to some devices in the coming weeks. But we can assume it is One UI 6.0 since Samsung mostly keeps exclusive updates for flagship devices rather than releasing them for every phone and tablet.
