Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is getting the Android 11 update
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), which was announced with Android 9 Pie in February 2019, receives the Android 11 update.
The Android 11 update for Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) was currently seen in a total of 29 Asian, South American and European countries. However, only the LTE model is receiving the Android 11 upgrade right now, and it is unclear when exactly Samsung will start rolling out to the Wi-Fi version.
The firmware running in South Korea has version number T515NKSU8CUF6, while those seen in Asian and European countries have versions T515XXU8CUF2 and T515XXU8CUF4, respectively.
The new build for Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) comes with the Android security patch from June 2021 and the usual Android 11 goodies, including new user interface, one-time permissions and chat bubbles.
If you have not received the update yet, you can check it manually by going to your tablets Settings > Software update menu.
