That Samsung Galaxy F22 is finally official in India. The Korean manufacturer decided to restart the Galaxy A22 under a new name for the Asian market with two of the three possible memory combinations. Key specifications include a Helio G80 chipset, four cameras and a Super AMOLED display.
Samsung Galaxy F22 differs from Galaxy A22 in the wavy design of the back panel as well as the color settings, which in this case are black and blue. You still get a 48MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide module, however, together with the two 2MP auxiliary sensors. In front there is a 13MP selfie camera.
There is a massive 6,000 mAh battery on the inside, which is the Galaxy F22’s most important claim to fame.
The 6.4 “Super AMOLED screen only has HD + resolution, but offers 90Hz refresh rate. And the F22, which is an affordable phone, is primarily the fingerprint scanner located on the power button on the side instead of under the panel.
Galaxy F22 is sold in 4/64 GB or 6/128 GB RAM / storage settings, and in both cases you can add more storage space through the dedicated microSD slot. There is also space for two SIM cards. Flipkart prices are INR12,499 ($ 170 / € 140) or INR14,499 ($ 195 / € 165) and availability is scheduled for July 13th.
