The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds2 would not have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), at least that’s what the early rumors said. Now leak out Isunivers provides evidence to the contrary.
Buds2 supports ANC, as can be seen in the screenshot below. Currently, only Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds Live are active cancellations, while Buds and Buds + only invoked passive noise suppression.
Buds2 also has it with silicone earplugs, as can be seen in the mating animation that leaked earlier today. This is where Ambient Sound mode comes in, it allows sound from your surroundings to reach your ears, which is handy when talking to someone. This feature was available even on the original knobs.
In any case, the Galaxy Buds2 will deliver better bass, according to leakster. In our review, we noticed that the original Buds had really bad bass output, and we found a marked improvement with Buds + when we reviewed them. Buds2 is unlikely to match the Buds Pro, which has a 2-way speaker system with an 11mm driver that acts as a subwoofer, but improved bass will go a long way towards justifying the price.
Galaxy Buds2 is rumored to cost $ 150- $ 170 in the US and € 180- € 200 in Europe. This is a pricing of Buds Pro, especially for the latest discounts. Buds2, the new foldable flagships and the new smartwatches will be unveiled on August 11th.
