Samsung confirmed earlier this month that it would release the One UI 5.1.1 update for older foldable devices. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 was one of the expected devices that will receive the update. According to recent reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has started receiving One UI 5.1.1 in the US.
Features of the One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2
The company has started rolling out One UI 5.1.1 to the device Galaxy Z Fold 2. The new update comes with many new features, including multitasking. This new multitasking update allows users to get better app previews on the modern screen. For example, you can now see if an app is open in split screen, full screen, or as a popup, improving the user experience.

The update will be available with build number F916USQU4KWH7, including the August security patch. Here are all the features of the new update:

One thing to note is that the patch is currently available on the Spring and T-Mobile networks in the US. Those who did not receive the update notification automatically can go to Settings > Software update > Download and installation to download the update manually.
