The third One UI 6.0 beta update brings an interesting feature to the Galaxy S23 series. A great feature provided by the third One UI 6.0 beta update.
Samsung has now started rolling out the third beta of the One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy S23 series in a few markets. This beta will provide a number of bug fixes and some features that were already present in the previous betas, however there are some completely new features.
The list of expected changes includes the media player widget in the notification area and the lock screen. One other change that users had to discover relates to emojis.
Emojis in the third One UI 6.0 beta update
Samsung introduced new emojis with the first beta update of the One UI 6.0 update. Not only do these emojis look as flat as they do in the One UI 5.1 update, but they’re also a bit dull and lack detail and outline.

Samsung’s latest One UI 6.0 beta 3 update improves these new emojis with stronger fonts and more detail. The screenshot above (via @theonecid) shows a direct comparison between the emojis in One UI 6.0 beta 1 and beta 3. If you look closely, you should be able to notice that the beta 3 emojis have better fonts and shading.
The third beta update for One UI 6.0 is now available in a few countries
Samsung has released the third beta version of One UI 6.0 For the Galaxy S23 in most, if not all, countries where the beta program was already in place. We can confirm that the third update has been released in the USA, UK, India and Germany.
Beta participants in these regions should be able to download the update over the air on their Galaxy S23 flagship phone. Users who may want to participate in the pilot program can try applying through the Samsung Members app on their phone.
