Qualcomm announced its new mid-range Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, and the first phone that will work with this new processor was revealed.

The new processor features a Kryo CPU with four high-performance cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four energy-efficient cores clocked at 1.95 GHz. The Redmi Note 13 Pro smartphone is scheduled to debut on September 21.
It also provides an Adreno graphics processing unit, which appears to be able to handle FHD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

It brings the FastConnect 6700 system, which offers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The processor’s navigation technology includes support for multiple positioning systems, including QZSS, Galileo, BeiDou, NavIC, GLONASS and GPS, with dual-band L1/L5 positioning.
In terms of camera features, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 offers a Qualcomm Spectra 12-bit ISP, which enables simultaneous triple-camera shooting and supports impressive features like 200MP photography and 4K video recording at 30fps.
