More than a month after initial beta testing, the company released Sony The technology giant has released a new update for the PlayStation 5 device. The new PS5 update offers many new features and capabilities, including the use of 3D audio supported by Tempest 3D AudioTech on HDMI devices that support Dolby Atmos, allowing users to mute the startup sound, and more other options.
The new PlayStation 5 update officially arrives with powerful features
According to the company’s blog, with the PlayStation 5 update, users can now use a second DualSense controller to assist them, improving accessibility.
Users now have the option to silence or adjust the PS5’s beep volume when it’s turned on, off, or when it’s put into sleep mode.
The update provides new ways to communicate with other players and customize users’ multiplayer sessions to their liking.

The update also adds support for larger capacity M.2 SSD drives, with capacities up to 8TB.
The new update also allows users to enjoy 3D audio powered by Tempest 3D AudioTech on HDMI devices that support Dolby Atmos.
The company said it is also working on expanding PS Remote Play compatibility to include more Android devices. It also plans to introduce some improvements to the PS app in the coming weeks.
PS Remote Play enables users to stream games from their PS5 or PS4 console to various devices, such as smartphones, tablets (iOS and Android), PCs and Macs, whether connected to the Internet or within the home network.

The company also mentioned that the PS Remote Play app can be accessed on devices running Android TV OS 12, which includes – Chromecast with Google TV (4K model) and BRAVIA XR A95L model.
To use Remote Play on these devices, find, download and install the PS Remote Play app on your Android device.
The update also introduces new voice commands in the US and UK, where users can now say “Hey PlayStation, Help” to instantly access help pages or “Hey PlayStation, what’s new?” ” to learn about the latest features and the current range of PS Plus offers.
