The operating system update brings a host of new features to compatible iPhones. This includes live voicemail, interactive widgets, using Siri during phone calls, standby mode, contact stickers, and more.

Although these iPhones will not receive the latest operating system updates, Apple is committed to providing essential security patches as needed. However, the aforementioned iPhones will not get any additional features and will retain their current functionality.

It should be noted that Apple launched a phone iPhone X In 2017. The smartphone is powered by the A11 Bionic processor and comes with an all-screen design. On the other hand, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were also launched in 2017.
