As Samsung prepares to launch its new flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, leaks continue to appear, as a new leak appeared today revealing disappointing details.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra details

Samsung has offered the Periscope sensor with 10x optical zoom for three years in a row, starting with the Galaxy S21 Ultra but that looks to be coming to an end next year.

Ice Universe reports that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will only offer 3x and 5x zoom sensors.

According to the leaker, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will come with a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor and a new 50MP 1/2.52-inch sensor with 0.7µm pixels that provides 5x optical zoom.

Despite the shorter zoom range, the new 50MP telephoto module will likely provide a significant boost in image quality.
