Recently, it was reported that Apple is planning to release a newer version of the iPhone SE in the first half of next year. The new model was called the iPhone SE 3 and it will be powered by the A14 bionic processor, which was used to power the iPhone 12 series phones.

confirmed the latest Leaks Popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said last month that the iPhone SE will receive several 5G updates and features in the first half of 2022. He also said that the new iPhone SE will be “the cheapest 5G phone from Apple ever.”
The first generation iPhone SE was launched in the market in March 2016. Featuring a small screen, it replaces the iPhone 5S that was released three years ago.

In April of last year, Apple updated the iPhone SE series. The new model came with the same A13 bionic processor as the iPhone 11. The screen also got bigger and used a new design, and it improved the camera as well. However, the upcoming iPhone SE 3 will get fewer changes, and the biggest change will be the new A14 bionic processor, and it will support 5G network.
The iPhone SE is the only iPhone in Apple’s current lineup with a Touch ID sensor and a home button. And the leaks confirm that the iPhone SE 3 next year will continue to use this design. There is also news that Apple is planning to redesign the iPhone SE in 2023. The latter may be using a perforated screen design instead of notches.

As for screen sizes, let’s say the iPhone SE comes with a 4-inch screen; The iPhone SE 2 had a 4.7-inch screen, with a screen-to-body ratio of only 65.4%. As for the new iPhone SE 3, it will get a 6-inch screen and a screen-to-body ratio of never less than 85%. So it may not only be a low-cost device, but it can also be considered a small screen device that competes with the Sony Xperia Compact and other devices.
