Last year, Apple introduced its first 5G-enabled phone lineup, and it only makes sense that the trend will be passed on to its upcoming models. Nikkei Asia reports that next year’s iPhone series will consist of all-5G models including a redesigned entry-level iPhone SE with the A15 chipset and 5G connectivity. The device is said to retain its 4.7-inch LCD panel and will have the same iPhone 8 chassis and is expected to launch in the first half of 2022.

Apple is also expected to move on from its iPhone mini by 2022, which had disappointing sales over the past year. A mini is still expected to be released in the fall. Looking at the iPhone 2121 lineup, Nikkei Asia reports that Apple may be bringing a more affordable 6.7-inch non-Pro model. The second half of 2021 is also expected to bring new MacBook Pros and AirPods.
