Samsung phones will get an important new feature for the camera – learn about it and the list of phones eligible for it
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone, which was launched earlier this year 2021, is widely considered to be the best camera smartphone of 2021, thanks to its image quality and excellent zoom cameras. Now, Samsung has revealed that it will provide a new feature that will make the telephoto cameras on Galaxy phones more useful.
The South Korean company is considering allowing telephoto cameras to be used on Samsung Galaxy phones in Pro mode. This information was revealed on the company’s official forum by a Samsung employee responsible for developing the camera. It was also mentioned that the company is trying to introduce the feature as quickly as possible.
Opening the telephoto cameras to use in Pro mode will make it very useful, especially for those who want to tweak the camera settings to take the best photos possible. Pro mode allows users to change the camera’s ISO, exposure, shutter speed, focus, white balance, contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation, and tint.
Samsung used to only allow the primary camera sensor to be used in Pro mode. Earlier this year, with the launch of the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung opened the Ultra HD camera in two modes Pro and Pro Video. Then, the company released the same feature for older Galaxy flagships.

This feature can be released to Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy 20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Note 10 Galaxy Note 10+, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy A72, Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 2.
