Samsung has officially announced that it will launch the Galaxy A22 5G in India on July 23rd. The 4G version is already available on the subcontinent, and the A22 5G was originally unveiled in early June.
Apart from the 5G support, the phone has a 6.6-inch 1080×2400 90 Hz TFT screen, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset at the helm, 4/6 / 8 GB RAM, 64/128 GB expandable storage, a triple camera on the back (48 MP main, 5 MP ultra-wide, 2 MP depth), an 8 MP selfie snapper and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. It runs Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 on top.

According to a rumor a few days ago, it should be priced at INR 19,999 ($ 268 or € 227 at current exchange rates) if you get it with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while if you want the same amount of storage but 8 GB of RAM you will have to pay 21R99 INR ($ 295 or € 250).
Prices are obviously unconfirmed yet, but it’s only a few days until the official unveiling, so we know for sure then.
