Galaxy S22 – Galaxy S22 series will provide a charging capacity of 65 watts!
Samsung is testing a new and faster 65W wired charging solution, and it looks like it will be ready in time for the Galaxy S22 – Galaxy S22 series in early 2022.
The information comes from a famous leaker Tron , who has a track record of such leaks.
Rainbow will be the code name for the Galaxy S22 series, with R representing the regular S22 model, G representing the S22 Plus and B representing the S22 Ultra.

We first saw Samsung’s 65W charger last January early this year, while it was certified in February (a month later) with a maximum charging speed of 3.25A at 20V.

65W Charger Tests for Galaxy S22 – Galaxy S22
It’s time for Samsung to surpass the 25W charging speed that it topped its galaxies with. There was also that short run at 45W, which eventually proved to be faster than 25W (it took about an hour to charge up the Galaxy Note10+ at the time).
The Samsung 65W USB Power Delivery Charger has recently received a new special certification with the German TUV SUD authority. The charger with model number EP-TA865 has already been certified in South Korea and photographed.
We know it supports Programmable Power Supply and can charge devices up to 20V and 3.25A (making 65W). But we didn’t know when this charger would become available to the general public, until the recent leak confirmed that the charger would be available for the upcoming S22 series.

The bigger question now is whether or not Samsung will supply the powerful charger in the box? .
