Report: Apple iPhone 13 to support 25W wired charging
The latest rumor regarding the iPhone 13 series is about the charging speeds of the phones. A report from MyDrivers quotes “foreign media,” which apparently learned through supply chain partners that Apple may increase the battery charging speeds of some iPhone 13 models to a 25W peak power.
Apple’s iPhone 12 series supports maximum charging power of 20W and even increases Apple’s charging capacity to 25W, charging time may not improve drastically. MyDrivers notes that the 18W charger is no longer available from Apple and that a 25W charger would cost a little more than Apple’s 20W charger, which currently sells in the US for $ 19.99.

A new charger means users with a next-generation iPhone who want to take advantage of higher charging speeds will have to buy a new charger, as Apple no longer includes a charging adapter in the box.
Apple’s new iPhones are usually expected to be announced sometime in or around September. The next generation of iPhones may always offer display features, storage options up to 1 TB may become available and may have a larger camera color on the back. In terms of charging speeds, previous reports suggest that the iPhone 13 may also have faster wireless charging, which currently maximizes at 15W using a MagSafe charger.
