New Apple iPad mini chassis suggests revamped design
Apple is expected to bring a new iPad mini, tentatively called the iPad mini 6, and the latest leak tells us more about its design.
A cabinet of the tablet revealed thinner front frames, lack of Touch ID on the front and a larger main camera, probably the same as the upcoming iPhone 13 smartphones.
The authenticity of the images is difficult to verify at this point, but they will tell us that the volume selector is placed on top of the device, on the opposite side of the power button, rather than any of the sides.
This would be a radically new solution, but the source claims it could be a manufacturing defect.
Other than that, all pages will be flat and consistent with the design of all current Apple products, stepping out of the curved edge of the iPad mini (2019).
In the past we’ve heard reports of an A14 Bionic processor as well as support for the Apple Pencil, but so far we have nothing official from Cupertino.
