Samsung Galaxy S21 FE – Galaxy S21 FE Monitoring a new version of the phone with this processor
It seems that the Korean company Samsung is currently planning to unveil its new smartphone known as Galaxy S21 FE as soon as next week. It was revealed earlier that the phone may come in only one version with the flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. However, one of the new leaks has claimed that there may be an Exynos version for the phone, and that claim appears to be true.
Galaxy S21 FE specifications
A new version of the Galaxy S21 FE has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark bench with model number SM-G990E and appears to feature an Exynos 2100 processor and 8GB of RAM. The phone scored 1084 points in the single-core CPU test of Geekbench 5.1 and 3,316 points in the multi-core CPU test.
On the other hand, tests have shown that the Exynos 2100 processor still performs as well as the flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. The Exynos variant of the Galaxy S21 FE appears to work similarly to the Snapdragon version (at least in CPU-related tests).
The Exynos 990 underperformed compared to the Snapdragon 865 processor. Hence, the presence of the Exynos processor inside the Galaxy S21 FE may not appeal to the company’s fans. Some Asian and European markets may get the Exynos version of the phone, while others will get the Snapdragon variant.
