Samsung has confirmed its willingness to start rolling out the beta version of the Samsung One UI 4.0 interface based on Android 12 for the Galaxy S21 series phones next September, without specifying an exact launch date, but it confirmed that the first beta version is very close.

Last month, Samsung largely confirmed that the Galaxy S21 series would soon receive the first beta version of One UI 4.0, but now the company has set September as an official launch date.
The Galaxy S21 series will be the first to join the One UI 4.0 beta, but it’s not the only one, it’s likely to be rolled out for the Galaxy Note 20 series as well. Regardless, there are plenty of Galaxy smartphones that will eventually receive Android 12 and Samsung One UI 4.0 once the firmware is out of the beta stages and goes public.

As for what to expect from One UI 4.0, the new version is expected to introduce aesthetic changes and obvious improvements such as new app icons and color schemes. The Knox security platform will be improved as well, and it’s likely that other changes being made will become more apparent once the beta rollout begins in the coming weeks.
