The Korean company, Samsung, began rolling out the September 2021 security update last week with the Galaxy S20 FE. Many budget and mid-range smartphones have already received the update. Now, Galaxy M31 has started getting the latest Samsung security patch and Samsung Pay Mini feature.
Galaxy M31 update features
Galaxy M31 gets a new firmware update M315FXXU2BUH6 that includes the September 2021 security patch that fixes more than 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities. Additionally, the update also brings Samsung Pay Mini to the phone.
The Samsung Pay Mini feature in the Galaxy M31 allows users to make mobile payments at retail locations via QR codes. As usual, the update includes device stability improvements and bug fixes.
Generally speaking, if you are a Galaxy M31 user, you may have already received the update. If you haven’t, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings, then clicking on the Software update option and clicking on Download and install.
Knowing that Samsung launched the Galaxy M31 phone in early 2020 with One UI 2 interface and Android 10 operating system. A few months ago, the phone received One UI 3.0 interface update based on Android 11 and One UI 3.1 update in March 2021.
