Samsung is working on an affordable 10 ”tablet, which may come next month. We’ve already seen it in a couple of partial leaks, now @OnLeaks and 91mobiles are bringing a pretty complete special charge for slate.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) has a 10.5 ”display, a standard LCD with 1,920 x 1,200 px resolution (16:10 aspect ratio). The refresh rate will of course be 60 Hz. There will be quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, so this cheap tablet has some entertainment potential.

It will not be a gaming powerhouse with its Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset. This 12 nm chipset has two Cortex-A75 cores (at 2.0 GHz) and six efficient A55 cores (at 1.8 GHz), a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and an LTE modem.
Only some versions of the tablet have LTE connectivity, the others are Wi-Fi only. RAM and storage configurations start with a cheap 3/32 GB and include more affordable 4/64 GB and 4/128 GB options.
Tab A8 10.5 (2021) will be powered by a 7,040 mAh battery, which will support fast charging (how fast is unclear). For reference, the Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2020) has a 7,040 mAh battery with 15W charging.
In addition to the quad speakers, the tablet will apparently also have a 3.5 mm audio jack. And there should be a 5 MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls plus an 8 MP camera on the back. The tablet offers face locking and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The tablet measures 246.7 161.8 x 6.9 mm (8.7 mm thick if you include the camera bump). It is available in gold, silver and gray.
The Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) is expected to be unveiled on October 21, about a month from now. The price will be 19,000 INR or so (it converts to $ 260 / € 220). Only the Wi-Fi Tab A7 10.4 (2020) started with INR 21,000 at launch, but is currently down to INR 18,000.
