See the iPhone 13 Pro Max go up against the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra in a speed test
Surprisingly, the side-by-side timed speed test stuff is good, still a thing. And now that a new Top Dog iPhone has been launched, you would obviously expect it to be set up against the best Samsung has to offer in 2021. And you would be right.
So here is a speed test that compares iPhone 13 Pro Max with Galaxy S21 Ultra. And unlike most such tests, this one does not use annoying human hands and fingers, as these could introduce a few milliseconds difference in the timing of the taps, and we just can not have it to such a level of scientific pursuit. So what do we get? Robot hands! And in a way, that’s exactly what we deserve.
Anyway, enough teasing on our part – check out the video integrated above to find out that the phones are neck and neck by spoiler warning for some of the tests. Who would have seen it come from two highly specified smartphones, right?
That said, when it comes to loading games, there is a clear winner. And yes, it’s iPhone. And because of the lead it builds with the games, it stays solidly ahead for the rest of the test and ultimately wins this incredibly important challenge. The total difference is about seven seconds between the two in the end, out of almost two minutes.
That’s a difference, but much smaller than benchmark numbers you would think, right? Then again, for more processor-intensive tasks, the iPhone is ahead, and surprises absolutely no one on the entire planet. Finally, in the RAM administration test, the two phones are basically linked to accessing already opened apps.
