A new report appeared about the upcoming Apple phones, indicating that the iPhone 14 – Apple iPhone 14 will violate expectations, as it may not feature a perforated design after all previous leaks that talked about the series, and this contrasts with a previous report from the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said High-end Pro models in 2022 will have a hole-punch design similar to the Android flagship.
And the surprise about the iPhone 14 doesn’t stop there, the iPhone 14 lineup may not have a Touch ID in-screen sensor.
The iPhone 13 – iPhone 13 series is almost a month old so far, but we’re already hearing more rumors about next year’s iPhone 14 series. The upcoming flagship series tends to adopt a perforated design for selfie camera placement. However, this may not actually be the case.

iPhone 14 design leaks – Apple iPhone 14
Whereas, according to a Weibo post – now deleted from PandaIsBald – Apple may not rely on a punch hole to house the TrueDepth camera system. This means that the upcoming iPhone 14 should retain the notch but in a smaller size. However, Pro models could get the punch-hole camera as suggested by famous leaker John Prosser and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
And what the latest post on Weibo means is that while Apple will offer a perforated design, it may be difficult for the company to ditch the notch entirely.
The PandaIsBald account, which has a track record with some leaks, correctly predicted that the ninth generation iPad would be announced at a September event. The latest leak means that the Apple iPhone 14 may continue to offer the notch.
Notably, with the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, the giant has reduced the notch size in the display but it is a little longer. It had to downsize the components of the TrueDepth camera system and re-engineer the internals, while the earpiece was moved to the top of the bezels, thus freeing up space.
This infusion The latter makes sense because analyst Ming-Chi Kuo did not say how Apple will include Face ID on the high-end iPhone 14 Pro models. In addition to the hole-punch design, the leak claims that the in-display Touch ID sensor will also not be present in 2022, which suggests that Face ID will continue even in the Apple iPhone 14 series.

In terms of performance, it is likely to be powered by Apple’s own Apple A14 Bionic processor, backed by 4GB of RAM. It may contain a large lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh.
