Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra breaks cover with a notched display
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series rumored to be official along with the Galaxy S22 next year reportedly includes three tablets – Tab S8, Tab S8 + and Tab S8 Ultra. Leaks OnLeaks gave us our first look at the Vanilla Galaxy Tab S8 yesterday, and now he’s back with a new set of CAD-based renderings that reveal the Tab S8 Ultra’s design.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is similar to the vanilla model – it has antenna lines on the back panel with a dual camera setup in the upper left corner, including the magnetic tape for charging the S Pen, and the Samsung logo further down.
The Ultra model has the on / off button and the volume selector on the frame on the right side as the vanilla version, with the USB-C port located at the bottom flanked by two grilles. There are two more on top that offer surround sound experience in landscape orientation, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack on board.
That said, things get interesting when we move to the front of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra because the bezel around the screen is slimmer than the Tab S8s, but the screen has a MacBook Pro-like notch that houses a single selfie- camera.

Since the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra only has a front-facing camera, Samsung could have gone with a hole in the display to offer more screen properties, but the source says that these reproductions are not 100% complete, so there is still a chance that we see the latest version with a hole hole or a completely different design.

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra measures 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4 mm, with the screen measuring 14.6 “diagonally. Previous leaks claimed that this is an OLED panel with a resolution of 2,960×1,848 pixels and a refresh rate at 120 Hz.
The Tab S8 Ultra is also rumored to come with the as yet unannounced Snapdragon 898 SoC and two memory options-8 GB / 128 GB and 12 GB / 512 GB.
The dual camera system on the back is said to include 13MP and 5MP cameras. Slate was also expected to have two cameras on the front – 8MP and 5MP – but we only see one camera in the latest renderings, so we’ll have to wait for more sources to confirm the specifications to be sure.
Fuel on the whole package will be a 12,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support, but it is unclear if the included adapter will go that fast or you will have to buy a separate one to get these charging speeds.
