The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has received its Wi-Fi certification today, an important prerequisite for its official launch, which hopefully should happen soon.

The tablet was seen at the Wi-Fi Alliance with the model number SM-X205. The list confirms the Galaxy Tab A8 name, as well as the fact that it will support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

Earlier, it was found in the Geekbench database, and that list revealed that it is powered by the Unisoc T618 chipset. The device runs Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.0 on top.

According to previous leaks, the Galaxy Tab A8 must have a 10.5-inch 1920×1200 60 Hz LCD screen, an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. RAM / storage versions will be 3 + 32GB, 4 + 64GB and 4 + 128GB. The tablet has a battery of 7,040 mAh and is available in gold, gray and silver.
