Many users sometimes encounter malware infested Android apps on the Google Play Store, and although Google has tried to check the apps accessing its store, some malicious apps are sometimes bypassed.

Recently, seven Android apps infected with Joker malware were spotted on the Google Play Store. Google has already removed these apps now, but they are still on your phone if you download them.
List of Android apps that contain the Joker malware
A number of Kaspersky cyber security experts have revealed a total of seven applications that were present on the Google Play Store. Similar malware was also present in the files that indicated a serial Netflix The famous “Squid Game” where many users faced similar attacks.

Google removed Android malware apps after users reported these issues, however, the fact that these apps are currently being used by millions of users, is becoming a more worrying issue.
So, users should thoroughly scan their phones, search for the following seven malware applications and remove them immediately:
- Now QRcode Scan
- EmojiOne Keyboard
- Battery Charging Animations Battery Wallpaper
- Dazzling Keyboard
- Volume Booster Louder Sound Equalizer
- Super Hero-Effect
- Classic Emoji Keyboard
Among the various cybercrimes caused by these malicious apps are that they take tactics like fake subscriptions and in-app stalking that can later be associated with illegal taking of money.
Users should be careful and stay away from opening suspicious links from unknown sources. As cybercrime is on the rise, many new methods of theft and fraud have emerged. Gaming services are now a new breeding ground for such malicious activities and practices.
