Samsung Galaxy A73’s specs, price, and renders surface
Two weeks ago, we got our first look at the Samsung Galaxy A73 when its concept renderings emerged. Today we look at the CAD-based renderings of the Galaxy A73 that are shared by OnLeaks, which confirms the smartphone’s previous design leaks.
Samsung Galaxy A73 will pack a 6.7 “FullHD + AMOLED screen with a centered hole for the selfie camera with an unknown resolution and a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication. The source says the panel is expected to have a 90Hz refresh rate but a previous leak claimed that it will go up to 120Hz.
Around the back we get a quad camera system with the headline of a 108 MP primary camera, but the purpose of the rest of the cameras is still unknown.
The Samsung Galaxy A73 will be powered by the Snapdragon 750G SoC, run Android 12 out of the box and have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on board. But you can expect to have more memory options.
The Galaxy A73 will pack a 5,000 mAh battery that will draw power through a USB-C port of up to 33W. The smartphone will be 7.6 mm thick (9.3 mm including the camera bump) and have a plastic construction, but it will be IP67 rated. In fact, the Galaxy A33 and higher models in the A-Series are said to come with waterproof next year.
The Samsung Galaxy A73 will be offered in the colors gold and black and is said to be launched with a price tag of INR32,999 ($ 440 / € 390) by the end of this month in India. The latter is surprising, as previous reports claimed that its production was not expected to start until Q2 2022.
