Xiaomi has just announced its ES50 2022 TV in China that delivers plenty of features in a 50-inch diagonal. Of course, the resolution is 4K, but more importantly, the device supports HDR, Dolby vision and can go up to 600 nits brightness in 4096 different levels.
One of the key features of Xiaomi’s new TV is the professional-level color accuracy of around 2.0 dE2000a achieved through complex algorithms that reduce color rendering errors. The AI engine uses super-resolution algorithms to reduce noise, improve definition, and repair low-resolution artifacts in real time.
Other notable features include MEMC, 10-bit color panel, MediaTek MT9638 quad-core chipset and running on MIUI for TV 3.0. Remote field microphones for voice control are also on the menu.
The TV costs 2,399 CNY and is available for pre-order in China with actual shipments beginning on December 11th. No word on international availability, but we suspect it will find its way to India at least where the 43, 55 and 65-inch variants are already available.
