YouTube channel Unbox Therapy has got its hands on a realistic-looking model of the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max. Although it is a non-functioning device, it gives us a good idea of what is to come later in the year.
Dummy devices are usually based on rumors. It is not uncommon for device manufacturers to provide such information to accessory manufacturers months before a product launch.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max mockup shown in the video is instantly recognizable as it is not a major departure from the overall design of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. This is consistent with the previous leak information and reproduces. That said, the devil is in the details and there are two important changes here.
First, the model has a visibly smaller notch than iPhone 12 Pro Max – 8.31 mm less wide to be more specific. The speaker has been moved out of the notch to the top frame, and the components of the TrueDepth Camera are now closer together.

The next obvious change is in the camera array. The new phone is expected to have an improved ultra-wide angle camera with an aperture of f1.8 as opposed to the current model f2.4 aperture. The smaller the f-stop number, the larger the aperture in the lens to let light in, resulting in better images, especially in low light.
A couple other upgrades are also reportedly on the maps, including larger 2-size pixels, which in turn should help capture more light. Due to these changes, the size of camera modules is likely to increase and a visual representation of it is the dummy unit.
It’s about it for exterior changes. All phones and buttons are still in the same position, throwing cold water on rumors of a portless design.
That The iPhone 13 series is said to be unveiled in September. Phones are likely to be powered by The A15 Bionic chipset and the Pro models may be equipped 120Hz screens. 2021 iPhones are also expected to have a Touch ID scanner below the screen. If the leaks occur, we have no doubt that they will be among them best phones of the year.
