Xiaomi uses the watermark feature by default on the devices to increase the popularity of its products but after the release of Android 7 this feature is no longer enabled by default on Poco, Redmi and Xiaomi devices. With the Android 10 update, the company has added new features to the watermark section of the Camera app, where we can now change the text to whatever we like.
However some users find this feature a bit annoying especially when they want to get memorable shots, but it gets spoiled by this flag placed at the bottom of the image without informing the user.
What is a watermark?
watermark or (Watermark) is the text (usually the brand name, device type, and logo) in the lower left of the image, and the date and time can appear in the lower right. The importance of this feature is to differentiate your snapshots by the information that is added to them.
How to deactivate or activate the watermark
Step one: Open the Camera app
Step 2: Tap on the three lines on the top right of the screen and go to Settings.
Step Three: Look for the “Watermark” button and you can disable or activate it, or you can even customize the “Watermark” options to your liking.

How to remove watermark from a photo you’ve already taken
Step 1: Open the gallery and select the photo from which you want to remove the Watermark.
Second Step: Click on the edit button and you will see the “Watermark” remove button.
This method of removing this flag for the camera using the Gallery app may not work for all devices. You may need to update the Gallery app to the latest version.
