Yesterday, Google released the second beta version (Beta 2) of the new operating system Android 12 (Android 12L) to eligible devices. This beta will be available for the Pixel 3a (XL) and all newer Pixel devices except for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro which have already experienced delays in the December security patch update and could be delayed for the Android 12L beta as well.
Upcoming improvements with the second beta version of Android 12
The second beta version (Beta 2) of the new operating system Android 12 provides (Android 12L) Bug fixes and some improvements such as optimizing the size of icons in relation to the screen size.

It also finalizes the APIs and system behaviors for this version of Android so that developers can start focusing on finalizing their apps in line with the new Android architecture.
Google has also faced criticism about how it handled the December Pixel 6 and 6 Pro update, which may be why the second beta version of the system designed for Pixel devices hasn’t arrived yet. It is expected that this is due to some modifications that have to be made with the Google Tensor processor, which has not been used on a smartphone before.
It should be noted that the letter L in Android 12L stands for large screens since the focus in this version will be the adoption of the new operating system from Google on devices with large screens such as tablets, foldable devices and devices running ChromeOS.
